PodCamp Philly at Temple University (October 2nd, 2010)
At the famous Digital Community Un-Conference, Harrison gave a 101 level presentation on how to build your network using social media as a young professional. In a more informative and educational setting, Harrison used past experiences, exceptional examples, to create an in-depth and informative presentation that allowed his audience to Build Bridges in Social Media.
SMACC (Social Media A Capella Conference) at Syracuse University (April 2nd, 2011)
At SMACC, Harrison will be giving two presentations as well as sitting on a panel with Peter Shankman to discuss the future of social media. Harrison’s presentations will educate the audience on the benefits of online video broadcasting, interviewing, and podcasting. Drawing from direct experiences through his involvement with the #PRStudCast and Engage TV, Harrison will show the new opportunities that are available in today’s digital landscape.
Get Social: A Blueprint for Social Media Strategy at Indiana University (April 8th, 2011)
At Indiana University’s “Get Social” PRSSA Regional Acitvity, Harrison will be hosting and speaking at their Get Social Opening Tweet-Up. Given that many of the conference attendees have not had the pleasure of attending Tweet-Ups in the past, Harrison will discuss the benefits to networking and turning your online connections into real-life relationships in the world of social media. Not to mention, he will be hosting a great game of Twizzo!
Social Media, Business, and Life Conference at Delaware Valley College (June 1st, 2011)
At the Social Media, Business, and Life Conference, Harrison will be presenting “Blogging 2.0: Going Beyond the Typepad” to an audience of students, young professionals, and seasoned business veterans. The presentation will explain the new ways individuals and businesses can blog through video, podcasting, micro blogs, and the traditional blogging platforms. Harrison is passionate about finding his voice in the business world and is aiming to empower his audience to do the same.
